The weirdest cello end pin stopper (or most innovative)

In Amsterdam there are 3 very typical about Dutch houses: large windows with no curtains, high ceilings and wooden floors. Beautiful houses, perfect for making music actually. But it concerns me to put scratches and dents into the floor boards with my cello end pin. On this particular day I forgot to bring an end-pin stopper (rubber stopperdonutblack hole etc.) so we had to improvise. I asked if the boys had any type of carpet and this is what they came up with:

His name is Gorgon Korvar Berg from IKEA. He’s from Sweden. Yes, one tiger was hurt in the making of this photo. :’(
